PCR Strips

Starlab PCR strips come as 8 or 12 strip tubes. Choose 0.2 ml strips, which suit the majority of cyclers, or 0.1 ml low profile strips for cyclers with low profile capability only.

Choose the format that fits your workflow: tubes and caps sold separately, strips with an attached cap strip, or strips with individually attached caps. Attached caps remove the risk of cross contamination from cap mix ups. Caps are available flat or domed. Non-Flex strips have a robust triple link between each tube, which makes them less flexible and easier to handle. 8 strip tubes and caps are also sold together in combo packs.

For qPCR, choose white strips with Xtra-Clear flat caps. The opaque white tubes maximise reflectance for enhanced signal, while the Xtra-Clear caps give optimal signal transmission and detection.

All Starlab PCR strips are made from medical grade polypropylene with ultra thin, uniform walls for optimal heat transfer. The strips can be snapped apart into smaller sections, and all are certified and packed in resealable bags.
