Which consumables does Starlab offer?

Which tubes are available in the range?
Starlab offers a variety of laboratory tubes, including microcentrifuge tubes like TubeOne®, reaction tubes, cryogenic tubes, screw-cap tubes and centrifuge tubes.
Are consumables available for PCR and qPCR?
Yes. Starlab’s consumables range includes PCR tubes, PCR strips, PCR cap strips, PCR plates and sealing films for PCR plates. Please refer to Plate finder.
Which plates are available?
Starlab offers microplates, deepwell plates and PCR plates, as well as a range of suitable sealing options.
Are sealing films and mats available for plates?
Yes. Starlab offers various sealing options, including adhesive sealing films, heat seals and silicone mats for microplates and deepwell plates.
Are autoclavable consumables available?
Yes. Most products in the consumables range are autoclavable, for example TubeOne®, microcentrifuge tubes, reaction tubes and plates.
Which materials are used for consumables?
Most of the consumables are made from polypropylene.
Are consumables available for pipetting robots?
Yes. The range includes SBS format plates and reservoirs for pipetting robots. These products are intended for automated liquid handling applications.
Which products are available for sample identification?
Starlab offers various identification solutions, including cryogenic tube labels, Startags, laboratory tape and barcoded pcr plates as well as laboratory label printers, and matching cartridges. For special cases, customised barcoded PCR plates are available on request.
How does Starlab support sustainability for consumables?
Consumables, by their nature, tend to be single use, although reusable reservoirs are available. Many consumables are offered in both pack and case quantities, providing you with the flexibility to reduce transportation and packaging with larger orders, or order just what you need so products do not go to waste.
Are reagent reservoirs available in the consumables range?
Yes. Reagent reservoirs are part of the consumables portfolio and can be used for manual or automated liquid handling processes.
