PCR Strips
Starlab PCR strips are available as 8 or 12 strip tubes and caps. Choose 0.2 ml strips, suitable for the majority of cyclers, or 0.1 ml low profile strips, which are for cyclers with low profile capability only.
Pick the cap format that suits your workflow: tube and cap strips sold separately, strips with an attached cap strip, or strips with individually attached caps. Attached caps eliminate the possibility of cross contamination from cap mix ups. Choose flat or domed caps. Non-Flex strips have a robust triple link between each tube, making them less flexible and easier to handle. 8 strip tubes and caps can also be bought together in combo packs.
For qPCR, choose white tubes with Xtra-Clear flat caps. The opaque white tubes maximise reflectance for enhanced signal, and the Xtra-Clear caps give optimal signal transmission and detection.
All Starlab PCR strips are made from medical grade polypropylene with ultra thin, uniform walls for optimal heat transfer. Tubes can be split into smaller sections by snapping the strips apart. All strips are certified and supplied in resealable bags.
