- CONTAMINATION. Produced in a cleanroom environment, CytoOne® products are made from crystal clear premium grade, non-toxic virgin polystyrene. CytoOne® plates are sterile (SAL-6) and certified RNase, DNase, DNA and Pyrogen free, and are supplied individually wrapped.
- EDGE EFFECT. CytoOne® plates feature chimney wells with a 360 degree open channel around each well. Filling this channel with medium during incubation helps provide a uniform temperature transfer across ALL wells, resulting in a more uniform cell layer.
- CONDENSATION. The one-way fit lids feature condensation rings to keep unwanted moisture and contaminants out.
- TEMPERATURE & GAS GRADIENTS. Vents on the bottom of each plate allow air to circulate around each plate when they are stacked in the incubator, to give all your cells a constant temperature and CO2 distribution.
- INCONSISTENCY. Plates are tested for wettability and flatness to guarantee uniform performance. Plates are also visually inspected to eliminate defects and scratches.
